Aelst, Willem van BiographyWillem van Aelst was born in Delft and was a pupil of his uncle, Evert van Aelst, and the still life painter Otto Marseus van Schrieck with whom he studied in Florence, Italy. He specialised in still life oil paintings of friut game and flowers.
